All guest areas constructed making use of innovative recycling technique and connected by 200m raised walkway. Pole structures provide the frame. The walls have a core of recycled tin cans which are plastered over to create a unique ambiance. |


| Other works included the supply and installation of a 30 kVA super-silent generator set with inverted back up power, all water storage and reticulation, two kitchens, three senior staff units, twenty junior staff units and two ablution blocks. |

Twelve luxury, self-contained guest unit situated on the exclusive islandreserve Bazarute, Mozambique. The project was managed from the head office in Maun, Botswana and this "extreme logistics" development posed many new challenges for the project team. Materials were sources from five countries with final delivery to the island by dhow and barge over 40km of sea. In addition to this, the considerable earthworks on live moving dunes tested the construction team on a daily basis. A unique range of materials and engineering principles were blended together to realise these structures as well as ensure their integrity and breathtaking views. This twelve million Rand, eight month project required innovative solutions to many diverse problems. |

Twelve guest units in a premier safari destination lodge. All canvas stripped form original units and in some cases sinking support structures raised and established. Saligna floor area greatly increase, roof structure modified, extended and thatched. Units clad with padded canvas panels for insulation to create a refreshing canvas look. Addition of an open air shower. Other works included replacing main power supply lines, supply installation of 3 x 30KVA 3-phase synchronised super-silent generator sets to cope with the lodge's new power requirements. |
